Anzac Biscuits
1 cup of plain flour
1 cup of rolled oats
1 cup of desiccated coconut
3/4 cup of brown sugar
125g Butter
2 tbs Golden Syrup
2 tbs of water
1 tsp Baking Soda
Heat oven to 160 degrees
Combine flour, oats, coconut and sugar in mixing bowl.
Heat butter, golden syrup and water in small saucepan until melted
Add baking soda to butter once melted
Add warm melted butter mixture to dry mixture and combine
Ask the kids to help you roll small handfuls of mixture into balls and press to slightly flatten
Place a few cm apart on a baking tray lined with non stuck grease proof paper
Bake for 15 minutes then leave to cool before serving
